What is Hey Nghbr?
Hey Nghbr shows you where people are actually going — and what they're loving — in real time. It's a feed built on real word-of-mouth, not endless reviews or sponsored lists.
Anchor Posts
Updates shared by local businesses — new items, specials, events, or simple check-ins. They appear in your feed and act as the "home base" for all neighbor visits shared about that spot.
Curated Plans
Neighborhood guides that connect multiple places into a themed experience. Anyone can create a plan — neighbors share them from their profile, while Neighborhood Insiders can earn from theirs and reach people browsing the main feed.
Who can earn from plans?
Neighborhood Insiders and businesses can earn from the plans they create. Neighbors can create and share plans too — it's a natural path toward becoming a Neighborhood Insider when you're ready.
Local Mode vs Explore Mode
Local Mode shows what's happening nearby — fresh posts from businesses close to you.
Explore Mode casts a wider net, surfacing newer spots, lesser-known places, and places a little further out that you might not have discovered otherwise.

Founders Circle
Limited TimeFounders Circle is for the people who helped build Hey Nghbr from the ground up. The ones who showed up, used it, shared it, and made it better.
Businesses earn it by joining as Neighborhood Partners early.
Neighborhood Insiders earn it through participation and sharing what they know.
Neighbors earn it by actually using Hey Nghbr — visiting places, saving things, sharing what's good.
Once you've earned Founders Circle, it's yours. It doesn't expire.
Specialties
Members can declare an area of expertise. Specialties appear as badges on profiles.
You can change your specialty once every 30 days in your profile settings.
Get Involved
Neighborhood Partners are businesses that subscribe to access additional tools for showing up on Hey Nghbr. Unlimited anchor posts, posts that stay current, curated plans on your profile, full dashboard access, and additional ways to engage organically.
Own a local business?
Become a Neighborhood PartnerThe Insider Track is how you grow from a neighbor into a recognized local expert. It's built around doing what you already do — visiting places, sharing what's good, and helping others discover your neighborhood.
Turn on the Insider Track
Toggle it on in your profile settings to start tracking your progress.
Rising Contributor
You're automatically a Rising Contributor once the track is on. Share visits, engage with the community, and build your reputation.
Apply for Verified Contributor
Once you hit the qualification thresholds, you can apply for verified status and unlock monetization.
Neighborhood Expert
Keep building your reputation. Neighborhood Expert status is earned through sustained contributions and deep neighborhood knowledge.
Social Impact Partners are verified 501(c)(3) nonprofits and community organizations with free access to all business features. They can post updates, create curated plans, and connect with neighbors in their community.
